A. What is the most powerful image from the slideshow? Why?
The picture of him smoking the cigeret, because he was thinking to himself why hes still there and why him.

B. What sequence of photographs is the most powerful? Why?
The most power picture was the one at the wedding because he wasnt too sure what he wanted and you have to be pretty positve you wonna get married with that person.

It explains the photo and what was going on at that time.

It helps shows what happened and how it happend during the time.

Great Black and White Photographers part 3

This picture caught my eye because these are the kind of pictures i take for other people or for my own.
I see he's thinking about something thats botheing him.
I smell fear
I hear voices on the other side of the wall.
I taste blood from the top of my lip.
I feel worried.

GBAW photographers part 2 (Walker Evans)

Walker Evans, November 3, 1903 - April 10, 1975. Was an american photographer best known for his work for the Farm Security Administration. Uses the large-format, 8x10-inch camera. He said thathis goal as a photographer was to make pictures that are "literate, authoritative, transcendent"

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Walker Evans came from an affluent family. He graduated from Phillips Academy, in Andover, Massachusetts. He studied French literature for a year at Williams College, spending much of his time in the school's library.

Evans took up photography in 1928. In 1933, he photographed in Cuba on assignment for the punlisher of Carleton Beals' then-forthcomming book. The crime of Cuba, photographing the revolt against the dictator Gerado Machado. In Cuba, Evans briefly knew Eernest Hemingway.

This picture is pretty good, I like how they made it look like its from the 80's and the quaity is still good. The color and the background is good.
